Zeneca will soon introduce Accolate (zafirlukast) for asthma. It's the first drug in a brand-new class of asthma meds.
Accolate is a leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA). Leukotrienes have been a HUGE area for asthma research...this discovery resulted in a Nobel prize.
