Forest Labs is now marketing Tiazac (TIE-a-zac), a new once-daily diltiazem for hypertension.
It's an alternative to Cardizem CD or Dilacor XR...and makes it now a three-way fight to get on formularies. Every indication is that they are therapeutically equivalent.
