Searle will soon launch Covera-HS, a new timed-release verapamil designed for BEDTIME dosing.
It's approved for either hypertension or angina.
Covera-HS is given just once a day. The drug is released through laser-drilled holes in the tablet. Warn patients they may notice a "ghost" tablet or an empty shell in their stool...like with Procardia XL, Slow K, etc.
