Norvir has many potential drug interactions. It inhibits certain cytochrome P450 enzymes in the liver. This means that patients taking Norvir can develop toxic blood levels of drugs that are metabolized by these same enzymes.

Don't combine Norvir with Seldane, Hismanal, Valium, Halcion, Demerol, and Mycobutin. Other drugs require dosage adjustments...Biaxin, Coumadin.
