There continues to be lots of confusion about generics for long-acting calcium channel blockers (Cardizem CD, Tiazac, etc).
It's hard to keep track of which long-acting diltiazem, verapamil, and nifedipine products are equivalent to each other.
For example, Adalat CC is not a generic equivalent for Procardia XL even though both are once-daily versions of nifedipine.
