MMWR will soon announce new recommendations urging wide-spread vaccination for ADOLESCENTS. The emphasis is usually on young children...but adolescents need boosters and certain catch-up vaccines, too.

About 20% have never had chickenpox...and it tends to be more severe in teens and adults. Use the new vaccine for these kids.

Most cases of measles now occur in adolescents and college students. Make sure kids get a booster shot by age 10 or 11.
