Naprelan, the first once-a-day version of naproxen sodium
Wyeth will soon be marketing Naprelan, the first once-a-day version of naproxen sodium.
They'll be competing against other once-daily NSAIDs...Daypro (oxaprozin), Relafen (nabumetone), and Oruvail (ketoprofen).
Naprelan tablets release about 30% of the dose immediately...the rest is released gradually. Since some of the drug is released immediately, pain relief usually begins within 30 minutes.
