Dosage form. Check labels for guidance. Liquids are often best...but thicker meds, such as ciprofloxacin suspension, can’t be given in tubes.

Be aware, hyperglycemia may occur if sugar content in liquid meds is high. Plus GI side effects are possible with hyperosmolar meds (acetaminophen, potassium, etc)...or sorbitol above 10 to 15 g/day.
