Oral cefixime is no longer first-line for gonorrhea

Oral cefixime is no longer first-line for gonorrhea...due to increasing resistance.

This means no more preferred regimens with just ORAL drugs.

Use ceftriaxone 250 mg IM PLUS azithromycin 1 g for most patients with gonorrhea. Combining two drugs will hopefully slow resistance.
