Reps will be promoting Zyflo CR, a new extended-release version of zileuton for chronic asthma...starting this fall.

Zileuton is a leukotriene modifier...similar to montelukast (Singulair) and zafirlukast (Accolate).

Zyflo never caught on because it's dosed QID...requires frequent blood tests...and it can increase theophylline and warfarin levels.
