Glaxo is now marketing Agenerase (amprenavir), the fifth protease inhibitor for HIV.
It will be used in combo therapy with other antiretrovirals.
The usual adult dose is 1200 mg (8 capsules) BID. It also comes in a 50 mg capsule and a liquid for kids.
