Childhood vaccine recommendations

The CDC recently updated the childhood vaccine recommendations. There are several important changes from last year.

The third polio dose (OPV or IVP) can now be given earlier...at just 6 months instead of at 12 months.

The second MMR dose should be given at 4 to 6 years...rather than waiting until 11 to 12 years as they've allowed in the past.
