    Nasalcrom (cromolyn) will become OTC. It'll be the same strength as the old Rx version. This is the first OTC nasal spray that helps PREVENT symptoms.

    It's also approved for TREATMENT...but it can take up to 2 weeks to see the full benefit.

    Nasalcrom works best if you start it about a week before allergy season. Tell patients they have to use it REGULARLY for it to work.
