Nitrates are the only significant drug interaction to worry about with phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors.

This is false. Nitrates are one of a number of potentially serious drug interactions to watch for.

Alpha-blockers. Co-administration can cause orthostatic hypotension and low blood pressure...but tadalafil (Cialis, Adcirca) may be less risky.

To reduce the risk, suggest trying low-dose Cialis...a urinary selective alpha-blocker (tamsulosin, etc)...or a low dose of both the PDE5 inhibitor and alpha-blocker.
