AndroGel now comes in a higher concentration so patients can use less gel. Using 2 pumps of the new AndroGel 1.62% is similar to using 4 pumps of AndroGel 1%.
The new strength will be priced a little LOWER to entice patients to switch. But they both still cost over $300 a month...and a generic is 2 or more years away.
